I bought a 686 jacket last winter this thing has already been dragged through a bunch of crap. Snow, rain, getting chucked in the back of my car like I don’t own coat hangers, the whole deal.

It still looks solid, which is kind of annoying because I expected at least something to give by now. Zippers don’t feel like cheap garbage, no rips, no sketchy loose seams. I’m rough on my gear, so if it can survive my dumbass treatment, that’s a win.

Shipping was fine too, no real complaints there. The only thing that wore me down was trying to find the returns info. I feel like every site makes you dig around for basic stuff now, and I just didn’t have the patience for it. Good experience overall, just wish the site was a little smoother.

I ordered a jacket from 686 my main concern was whether the color would look totally different in person. At least for the green one I got, it was pretty much like the photos on the site.

I also checked it in daylight just to be sure, and it still looked right to me. Obviously that might depend on the color or your screen settings, but in my case I didn’t feel like I had to guess.
